I admit it. I have succumbed to the subscription box craze. Getting interesting, often surprise, products in the mail is just really, really fun. Kind of like a mini Christmas or birthday every month.
It all started with my co-worker, B, and her subscription to Birchbox. Each month she would have a cool new beauty product that she got in her box. The rest of us non-subscribers would all ooh and ahh in jealously, until I finally decided enough is enough. I wanted in on this box goodness!
Now, eight months later I have four monthly subscriptions. Since I have yet to win the lotto (not for lack of trying! I'm part of a weekly pool at work.) I can't subscribe to as many as I would like. The list of boxes is huge and ever expanding. I've primarily stuck to "beauty" boxes, but there is a subscription for pretty much any interest you can think of: yarn/knitting, food/cooking, travel, crafts for kids, etc., etc.
