The first was half off the Ta Da! Quick Dry Drops. I couldn't say no.
Ta Da! Quick Dry Drops
$14/$11.20 Maven
($5.60 on sale)
"Back by popular demand, these game-changing drops will leave your manicure touchably smudge-free in just a few minutes.
- Features & Benefits:
- Reduces polish dry time
- Nourishes nails and cuticles with botanical oils and vitamin E
- Scented with lavender and ylang ylang"
This product has a strong smell. I could smell it before I even took it out of the box. I like it though, and it seems similar to the smell of the cuticle oil. I haven't tried these yet, but I look forward to it.
The next deal I couldn't resist was in conjunction with the new weddings section on Julep's website. The code was to get a free Something Blue polish with a $10 purchase.
Due to some glitch, I was able to get the polish free with a cheaper purchase. I snagged a polish I'd been eying in the Savvy Deals section.
Whitney - Classic with a Twist
"Mushroom grey-beige crème"
$14/$11.20 Maven
($6.99 on sale)
I'm excited to finally have Whitney. I've been eying her for a long time, and was really jealous when my co-worker ordered her. Using the Blue code was a good excuse to scoop up this polish.
Something Blue - It Girl
"Little blue box blue crème"
$14/$11.20 Maven
($9.99 on sale - free with code)
Since this is listed as a gift, it came with the bag and gift tag. This polish isn't going anywhere though. I know, more blue! This is a very blue May so far. I didn't need another blue polish, but it was free - so, why not?
Here is a side-by-side of the blues:
They are all fairly similar.
As I said, I was good and have passed up the Mother's Day deals, the Cinco de Mayo offer, and the Secret Store offerings. I have a ton of Julep polishes that I haven't used yet, so I want to slow down a bit on the collection.
