Beauty swaps (part 9)

I'm crossing another state off the list with this round of swaps!

Thirty-third swap

For this swap I sent off the cute, but not for me headband from my Inevitably Chic July box for a Jouer Moisturizing Lip Gloss in Pink Glacé.

First off, please excuse the horrible polish. I've been too busy with work to do anything with my nail polish. Second, is this not the tiniest lip gloss ever?? I did not realize it was going to be so small. Oh, well. I have been wanting to try the Jouer brand for awhile, so I still consider this swap a win. 

Thirty-fourth swap

I was introduced to Model Co through Birchbox long ago. Even though I am usually more of a lip gloss girl I love their lipsticks. When I saw this one I knew O had to swap for it. I was especially happy when Jennifer picked out this necklace and earrings combo which I received from Inevitably Chic. A perfect example of one man's trash being another man's treasure. 

Jennifer also included a bonus item: a masque from Montagne Jeunesse! I love this brand's crazy images and was stoked when I opened the package. Overall, a super swap!

Thirty-fifth swap

So, I have to admit I basically did this swap just because Gloria, my swap partner, is from New Mexico. Another state crossed off the list!

I sent off the Glowing Mama scrub (the name just makes me shudder) for an NYX Lip Butter. There were a couple issues with this trade. First, Gloria shipped it crazy late (like a week after the trade was agreed upon) and the color is not as stated. This is partly my fault though. I went back to check the original posting and realized the color she listed doesn't exist. I should have checked that before swapping. The color, Èclair, is a dupe for me. I like it though, so not a huge problem.

Gloria included a couple extras too.

Thirty-sixth swap 

As you may have noticed I've been on a lip product kick, and this swap was no exception. I sent off a Revlon mascara, Nelson J hair mask, and Vincent Longo lip and check stain.

In return I received a ModelCo lipstick in Kitty and Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Beach Spray. I have wanted to try this spray for ages so I was stoked to swap for it.

Paige, my swap partner, also threw in some extras. I actually kind of like the perfume sample scent. I may keep it.
