Birchbox: August 2014

No special partnership this month, but the package was addressed a bit differently...

August's theme is: Lighten Up. There were four different card designs, and I am a bit sad not to have received the flip-flop one.

Yay! I finally received a dry shampoo sample! Love the fun bright colors too. Score!

Hmm, not sure about whether to keep this one or swap it away. Birchbox also threw in a Tinted Moisturizer sample.

I may throw it into one of my swaps.

Sample size: 0.12oz (Full size: $22)

This is the sample I selected this month, but it is much smaller than I was expecting. Still looking forward to experimenting with it though!

If I could opt out of a brand it would be Supergoop! Not only does the name and exclamation mark annoy me, the samples are minuscule. Off to the swap shop it goes.

I seem to always love the lifestyle extras from Birchbox. This is a total throw back to junior high when everyone was obsessed with Binaca. Lol

Summary: overall, a good box. Nothing I am super excited about, but a good mix of products.
