Birchbox vs ipsy: March 2014

Time again for another birchbox vs ipsy match-up!

What came in my birchbox?

COOLA Tinted Matte SPF 30 for Face, Curl Keeper hair lotion, Air Repair Rescue Balm, Vasanti Brighten Up!, Mighty Leaf teas, and a Ghiradelli chocolate square.

What did my ipsy bag contain?

bareMinerals lipstick, Pixi face primer, Nicole by OPI Roughles polish, and Be a Bombshell eyeshadow quad.

The winner: ipsy!

While I didn't really love anything in my ipsy bag this month, I liked the types of products included. It was a good mix of lips, eyes, nails, and face.

My birchbox was a disappointment again. The samples were basically all skin care: face SPF, skin balm, and face wash. The one hair item is for curly hair, which I don't really have. The tea packets and chocolate are bonus items and don't count, but they were the better box items.
